4/18/2016 Bankgirot has signed an agreement with the property company Atrium Ljungberg for office premises at Mejerivägen 1 at Liljeholmen for all the employees of the company. The move is planned for April/May 2017.
The payment market is currently undergoing a fundamental change. To Bankgirot, this means increased demands for delivery of market-leading solutions where there is an opportunity for banks and payment institutions to share the extensive investment costs in order to increase their competitiveness. It is with this thought in mind that Bankgirot has sought new office premises that can handle the increased demands for flexibility.
“This property solution provides us with the conditions to generate a modern office environment with the desired flexibility and working environment.
It gives better opportunities to increase employee satisfaction and opportunities for efficient customer meetings. The market we operate in is going through major changes, which in turn places high demands on our own adaptability and innovativeness - something these office premises can promote.
Moreover, Liljeholmen is an area which of late has gone through a transformation from an industrial area to a vibrant district,” says Torbjörn Ericsson, CEO of Bankgirot.
Bankgirot is currently located in the Globen area, where the company has had its operations since 1988. When the company moved to its current premises it was very much more a paper-based operation and there were therefore different demands on the premises than today’s digital operation.
